On 10 January 2025, the Geotechnical Laboratory of the Faculty of Geotechnical Engineering held an initial meeting with Hibourg d.o.o., marking the beginning of a strategic collaboration on the early development phase of Project AGENDA. The meeting focused on defining the approach for the Proof of Concept (PoC), intended to test the feasibility of a future geoportal system capable of visualising georeferenced geotechnical data collected over several decades.

The discussion outlined the scope of existing laboratory datasets, consisting of more than 5,000 reports and hundreds of sampling locations, each containing multiple depth-specific samples and up to 20 parameters per specimen. The PoC will integrate a test dataset into an interactive map environment using a lightweight Google Maps implementation, demonstrating the core functionalities required for further development.

This collaboration represents the first major step toward validating the technological concept and preparing detailed functional specifications that will guide the full implementation of AGENDA.

Next Steps
The PoC and functional specification development will run in parallel throughout early 2025.
